71 Wolf RIdge CR: Metals FME=Azure 5X Damage Scarlet Moon   The giant blue wolves have azure in their very bones. Kilvan and Pura are fleeing the northern lands after they rescue each other and Pura is set free from the warrior man Dark Wolf who had abducted her from Scarlet Temple where she was worshipped as a goddess of the Scarlet Flower. Dark Wolf had removed the shoe that bound her to the altar and which released its poison into her blood. Kilvan had come north to raid the tents of Dark Wolf, but Kilvan's men had abandoned him in the heat of battle and took his horse and belongings even as Dark Wolf escaped. He is left with Pura who is in a poisoned delirium. Kilvan himself is addicted to the hut herb that the Battle School uses to control its warriors and raiders and the two of them detox together though neither speaks the other's language. When they finally make their way out of the northern lands they encounter not only the barren ice desert, but also the Giant Wolf itself.   On the way after Pura kills the wolf with the poison dart that she keeps in the amulet that she wears around her neck. The next day the reindeer herders of the frozen steppe come to show their gratefulness and take care of Kilvan and Pura until they regain their strength.
