Journal entry (DM entry)

The past year has been a trial. On my life, I swear the Average citizen is a spy and traitor. I saw the same bird 40 times and believe it is leading the spies in the city. The Empire is soon to crumble if nothing is done due to that fool Xoowryct and the poor child he seems to have deceived to attack the empire. My visions show me that I must leave yet I do not wish to abandon the city I have so carefully built up. Yet the people seem critical of what I am doing. I will try to convey I care for them and wish for safety for all. The bird is back and watching me write, my dear advisor says I should leave it be.
There are some rips in the paper as though something went through it at high speed and dust across the parchment
The bird is dead now. I once believed in this empire and trusted my fellow dragon lords. Now I find war at my door with all of the civil unrest threatening me. The Jotuns haven't even had this many problems, Granted the eldest Jotun was killed and a child now leads that country. I have my plans and must keep them all guessing, yet I cannot save all of them. So, I must do a great Evil soon. The damn bird is back. somehow.

Alignment

Neutral (He balances with good and bad deeds due to his madness)

Notable Deeds

Won his city in a bet and managed to use a miracle. (Though he refused to explain any further. He began rambling and threw a strange device at me. It simply read “The Stone Knows the Truth”. To this day I am unclear on what this meant.)

Religion

Believes in magic. (This was all he would say. Then he looked at me expectantly. Later asking about if I was “Related to a seagull”. To which we hurriedly moved the conversation along).

Physical Traits

In dragon form he has golden colored scales and a scar across his face making one eye looking blind and a reattached horn

Notable Comrades

His Cohort, his friends (Very few, rather only a single mouse that seems to watch him as he sleeps).

Notable Rivals

Almost everyone (He began muttering “They all are more aggressive and call for my head” to which I ended the conversation shortly afterwards.)

Notable Items

A book
An entire armory of bone weapons and armor that are +3

Ambition

To live somewhere peacefully and maybe cure his madness?
Aside from the journal entry these notes were made by an Imp named Shrimp
