First Age

Welcome to The First Age and the first stop on our history of the current world. As we currently reside in this age much of it has or is being, currently recorded. Much of what you will learn about within this age may shock you. But while we understand history can be jarring, we hope that all who read this understand that we try to stay as honest in our recording as possible. With the goal of ensuring young adventurers continue to prosper and the world grows a safer place for understanding.
 

What is The First Age?

An age most researchers recognized as the first ever recorded period of time. Though The First Age is technically four different ages combined into one. The Collective of Pyrus have simply coined the term “First Age” as a catch all. With the first portion being the Demon Age, which consisted of much of the powerful lesser demon-folk rising from The Deep Dark to reclaim the land. Then the Age of the Dragon Lords, as many dragons would suddenly appear on the political landscape. Expanding out across all known continents or dying in the process. Following it is the Jotun Age of Exploration, which saw many of The Dark Kings children fighting for supremacy somewhere in the world. And lastly our current age, The Helmgrind Age or in common “Age of Many Wars”. Where much of the established city state-like nations have begun to expand once more and broaden the territory of their leaders. This has already caused multiple civil wars, expansion wars, and the elimination of a few nations. Thus The First Age truly lives up to its current name.
 

When did The First Age Start

While no definitive date has ever been noted in the history books. We do know that The First Age has gone on for nearly a millennia in recorded history. With Dragon Lords rising and Jotun Regins conquering vast domains for nearly a few thousand years now. We believe the first Dragon Lord Crave’Ceagag was the first true marker of civilized history in The First Age. Marking them as a ruler around three thousand seven hundred and sixty seven years ago from the writing of this book.
