The West Wind Pirates

Organization Category:

Illegal/Pirates

Organization Specialization:

Liberation of valuable goods and individuals.

Sigil:

A W made from bones on a blue wind like depiction with a white background. The blue wind is said to be representative of the “Western Wind Plague” that caused many to gain strange blue bumps. Later the bumps would explode and with the loss of blood and open sores, few survived. Some have attributed that plague to The Black Bone Pirates and one of the tombs they had explored. Others say Gesel himself caused it through his druidic magics.

Owner:

Gesel "The Western Wind", a noble blooded genie who was said to originally serve as the Quartermaster of The Black Bone Pirates. Serving as Black Bone Og’s right hand and chief amongst the crew. Gesel would gain a lot of notoriety for his bloody tactics of sending strong winds into settlements that would tear the skin from its inhabitants. Described as being red skinned, with golden jewelry dangling from every piece of visible skin. Gesel “The Western Wind” is said to bring both his puffy white wig that seems to stay perfectly upon his head at all times. And his strange white crystaled staff that seems to depict a wind like force being pushed to and fro within the staff. Though wise in how he speaks, there is a viciousness to his speech patterns. Getting angry quite quickly when his demands are not met.

Ship

The Crying Lass was known for her dragon figurehead that shoots dragon breath from it like the spell. A massive galleon who is rumored to have been carved out from a massive elder treant. A treant who is not fully dead, as its wood knot like face is said to move about the ship as commanded. Shouting out orders its given by Gesel.

Crew Count:

Sixty and Five members, with four officers, one captain and the rest a mix of firay crew.

Renown members:

Jin “The Liar”
The First Officer and quartermaster of the crew. Jin is said to be a powerful bard who can command kraken to do his bidding. Gaining his nickname from his previous crew he captained, The Lying Pirates. Jin now uses the nickname as an excuse to set aflame those who lie to him.

Relmonovasaran “The Genius”
The doctor of the ship and like the rest of the renown crew members, is a powerful genie. Relm, as the crew call him, is an unholy man who serves a forgotten Demon Lord. Using his powerful runic magic to keep the crew healthy, while at the same time blessing them with unholy power. Though few of the crew are worshippers, it is said that Relm holds quite a bit more power amongst the crew then Jin. Despising the genie as he does.

Mari “The Giant”
The cook and a halfbreed jotun or so the rumors had it. Mari was known for being able to shapeshift into giant boars and bears. Serving the crew powerful sky fish cooked to perfection. Though few knew the truth, Mari was actually from a rare noble bloodline that granted him his size. In exchange for much of his magic, Mari was only ever gifted with his strength and ability to transform into large beasts. A perfect power for a renown cook and powerful warrior.

Efret “The Flame”
The Navigator and a bit of a pyromaniac. Loving fire and enjoying seeing those who are weaker burn. Efret is a bit psychotic almost all of the time, however he is a natural navigator. Never being unable to tell which direction south is, Efret is a living compass. His skin crimson red like the captain, he is also said to be Gesel’s stand in from time to time. As the two are said to be not but unmistakable when stood next to each other. Though Efret has a bad burn scar across his entire chest, to which he keeps covered with heavy clothing.

Locations:

League Cove

A floating island that is said to be made from one of The First Seeds. The island floats upon a group of dense silver clouds. Allowing for those who serve the “Winds”, a forgotten organization that we could find nothing about. As the only ones capable of finding the island. The island itself is a typical pirate cove with powerful vendors of all sorts setting up shop within. As they say, the best craftsmen are usually the ones with the least amount of empathy.

Annual Income:

Due to their illegal activities, the group rarely pays tax and is yet to confirm their annual income.
