The Broken Mountain Kingdom

Cities

Here we will show the maps of the kingdoms, duchies and lands throughout each of the ages.

Braut Fljot

Also known as the city of a hundred roads and rivers, the city finds itself as one of the largest ports in the south. With the many dragon lords having slaves and wares come through the town. The city finds itself vastly wealthy as a single port town, large castles all seem to dot around the city in a spell circle design. The roads are said to lay out the mapping of a powerful spell that would allow the city to uproot and fly away. Though the city with its many water ways, many would surely be left behind. The city is noted to be half submerged off the side of the continent allowing for the races of the ocean and those who make a living diving to increase trade even further.

Nobility

Here we shall discuss notable noble houses through the time periods.

Regin Balum "Bright Beard" of Grunaga

Known as the one jotun army even amongst the jotuns of the sky. Balum "Bright Beard" would gain his nickname after he managed to slay an ancient black dragon that was rumored to have been Mov'asi's predecassor to the territory. The two were said to do battle for multiple days before finally as Balum landed the final hit with his greatsword, the dragon would succumb to the multiple injuries it had sustained. Many believe Balum to have been the first craftsman to design the dragon slayer rune, however as the art was never passed on no historical accounts can be found to prove the rune existed. Balum is noted for his hot headed attitude to almost everything except his wife Oxanna who was noted to have taken on the appearance of a dwarfed fire giant. All else saw Balum constantly angry or heated about something, a tentative king who ruled the hill giants through respect and kindness. Many noted the minor king of history to be one with his people as he was found so often working in the fields or in the many churches helping the local priests.

Regin Oxanna

Known as Bright Beard's Heart, and the heart of her kingdom, for many believed if the woman were to ever perish, the hill giants would spend the rest of there existance at war. Known for her level headed kindness, and high emotional intelligence. Queen Oxanna was considered a saint amongst her people, with her own capabilities in divine magic coupled with her husbands brute force would eventually lead to the two being a force in there own right. Oxanna is believed to be the one who spoke of peace with the dragon Cysormx and Llhaah, managing to get the two to agree to leave the Fell Jotun as a neutral buffer. Alongside supposedly attempting to sooth the ire of Mov'asi and Faltharn during the wars of the Helgrind War.

The Bloodied Oath's

A holy order of knights said to be stuck with an incurable disease. They rush into battle with death on there mind, and the hope of slaying one more enemy. It is said that those in the order all suffer from Oath's Rage and only manage to control it when not in combat by taking the same drugs the berserkr vikingr are noted for. These drugs are said to calm the paladins, however in battle as if fighting like beasts, they are said to be some of the most ferocious. Even having fought to the last man against a horde of undead, slaying what was noted as fifty to one as the paladins found themselves extremely out numbered. They number 500 at the beginning of the first age and fell under the command of Balum "Bright Beard" of Grunaga

Coins

Here we shall find how the coins look, what materials they are made of, and what the value of the coins are on the overall market.   DIAMOND CROWNS The first coin that replaced the common platinum that the dragons used for its shininess. Giants though, are not dragons, thus the more common material of liquid diamonds would be harvested from the cores of the volcanoes in the heart of the magma as it was believed. This material would be farmed to make coins and other magical items.   RUBY VOLCANOS Believed to be equivalent to the gold piece commonly used by the lesser nations including dragons. Thus the Jotun-Modr pioneered the coin in the shape of their homeland to be used by those sworn to them. These simple coins are individually 5cm by 5cm like the other coins, however it is clear and seems to sparkle from its craftsmanship only possible by the Jotun-Modr who individually made each coin.   SAPPHIRE HILLS Sapphire hills were thinner coins due to there higher rarity, though most giants valued sapphires less then rubies and only slightly more then emeralds. Thus most recognized this simple hill drawn with sheep grazing into the individual sapphires as a silver coin.   EMERALD PLAINS Lastly and most common in the Jotun-Modr volcanos were emeralds. As the material was farmed simply from their individual Rok-heap herds. Thus simple grass would be carved into the coins as apprentices practiced there arts on the coins.

Trade Goods

Here you shall find the trade goods this race has on offer in the nations they inhabit.

STARFALL WEAPONS AND ARMOR

Star metal was the leftover material from the impact of an object fallen from space. It was extremely rare and in high demand because it could be forged with common metals to make durable weapons and armor of great strength. When found, these stones were usually small, about thumb-sized, though ogre-head-sized pieces were known to have been discovered.

ROAD BUILDING

Though made from a material only found within the Fell Jotun territory, it is said that the road materials that was used would last for ages. Many historians noted that the Fell Jotun city would probably still stand today. The services seemed to be a pride for the Fell Jotun, and as such many of the roads and cities they would build for those few who could afford it, would show even to this day as ruins that still can be found in fantastic condition.
