Tanarukk "The Creator" "The Blessed"

General

Tanarukk the Blessed was a large horned beast who would go on to create the Chorizon and Goliaths in his image. To the Chorizon he would give his genius and curiosity of the world, while the Goliaths gained his strength and love for violence. For Tanarukk, although blessed, he enjoyed the show of bloodshed as a sport. Tanarukk though would also go on to enjoy and give his children great gifts, such as mighty beasts to hunt and plants that would give them a strong drink to enjoy.

Gods Name

Tanarukk "The Creator" "The Blessed"

Diety Level

Full God, though due to his origins being of another god he is uniquely like others capable of making life from himself. Though this power is not strictly limited to a deities own level in the perceived hierarchy. It does seem to share a commonality that those who create life from nothing are only able to do so if born to another divine being. That in itself leads to the question of the Primordial God's own creator as the only other known gods to hold this power.

Domain

Knowledge, Life and Animals are the main domains of Tanarukks worshippers and the god itself. While Knowledge is the dominant domain due to Tanarukks belief in how all life is sacred but understanding it is required to recognize its sanctity. Life and Animals stand quite strong amongst his views almost as dominantly with how much authority he holds over them.

Races that Follow

Goliaths, Elves, and some Koboldkin are all counted amongst his common followers. Interestingly the Chorizon are believed to have refused his divine gifts and chose instead to make their own gods. It should also be noted that “Elves” refers to any humanoid species that has pointed ears and little to no mana veins within their body. As this covers a large number of sub species, they are usually generalized in the jotun term “Elves” or in common “The Hungry Sharp Eared Ones”.

Preferred Item

Heavy Armor as many of Tanarukks followers are a mix of druid and warriors for their love of nature and their want to protect it. Thus many will adorn their armor with symbols of Tanarukk while also ensuring its combat effectiveness.

Church/Pantheon

None currently has been formed however that is not to say that this is fully accurate. As the lands of southern Drafika are quite wild and untamed, thus many of our researchers were limited in their search for any churches of sorts. Thus it is fully possible for certain groves or more natural places of worship may yet lay undiscovered. As for pantheons, Mesomusa is the only other known god to share a divine authority over the domain of Knowledge and seems to share very similar views on the world overall due to it.

Holy Order

None, but similar to the church it is said that there could be one that we just could not understand amongst the goliaths. As the goliaths and elves both have a unique language that involves simpler grunting and less complicated forms of speech.

Champion

None that we could find through our search of the southern portion of Drafika.

Symbol

A hatching green egg on a grey background, which is usually carried as a medallion or as a small banner. The hatching green egg is typically carved from green colored stones, jadestone or emeralds depending on the strength of the follower. However all share the commonality of using a crude pig iron as the medallions background and base metal..

Creed

"Learn, Live, and Fight strong beasts"

Follower Count

Roughly 200 followers were counted amongst the multiple goliath, elven and koboldkin who came forth to speak. Though if all those grunts were confirmation, the number may be closer to the tens of thousands in truth. As many of the idols they carried all depicted different variations of similar creatures, but only a few wore proper symbols of the god himself.

Notable followers

None that we could understand the names of when we went south to research them. One large red fellow did stick out as a unique individual. He spoke the draconic tongue and wrote in jotun runes. However he was quite the shy individual and refused to speak to any of our researchers, leaving us only notes and a few whispers when confronted directly.
