Primordial Gods
General:
Once existed eight individual creatures said to pre-date the world. Creatures that were born with the ability to give life to nonexistence. Each was said to be weaker than the last but the two eldest of Preta and Váhy stood equal. Or so the stories painted upon ancient caves tell us, they both stood as one being who balanced both sides. Others sprouted from them as they stood to hold everything as one. However, it was when Preta desired more that the Law Bearers would be born. Said to be the first to fall long before Váhy would, Preta would fall to her desire... her hunger to be the true authority over all. By reaching down to take this power Preta would find herself destroyed and creating the Law Bearers from her many emotions. First destruction of her sisters, then control over them, and finally the ever ruling of time itself. These three would create more Law Bearers and one day take on the name "Beyond God" as if to mock their progenitor. There have only ever been eight Primordial Gods, as there can never be another born that creates such life through nonexistence.Gods Name:
The Primordial Gods, “The Forces of Truth”, and “The Life Givers”.Diety Level:
Original God or Law Bearer, though we are unsure where to classify these creatures. We could say that they have been around since before the Law Bearers themselves. However, only three domains seem to be unshared by any and grant immense power beyond what we have seen. None of which are shared as a dominant domain by any of the Primordial Gods themselves.Domain:
Balance, while the two youngest sisters are known to have their own domains, the others are fully unknown beyond a name and legend. Thus while we put balance down, this is only based on a few shamans of the many beastfolk tribes' own opinions.Races that Follow:
Beastfolk, and Deep Folk find themselves as the main servants of these gods. And seem to be the only individuals to keep up the oral traditions of these legends. As beyond the stories they share, little is left to prove anything of the Primordial Gods.Preferred Item:
Quarter Staffs and Wood Armor are the two main items of those who serve the Primordial Gods. Though this can vary slightly between each as some twist their interests more toward their personalities. Each individual who serves is said to grow the trees themselves in which they craft both armor and staff from. To represent the patience and understanding of the gifts they have been given. Only once the trees are of a certain age and size are followers allowed to cut into the trees themselves. Thus those that choose longer lived or slower aging trees to raise are believed to be more dedicated.Church/Pantheon:
The Blessed Church
Though long extinct as it was wiped out during the Centuries War by the Bufoni clans as they enslaved the many beastfolk clans. These churches were said to house immense power to hold back the Law Bearers influence on the world. Though their locations are long lost.Holy Order:
Order of the Broken Law
An exclusively arcane casting holy order who specialize in druidic and sorcerer magic. They are said to smile in the faces of death and fight without concern. Many granted immense boons of strength through their adoption of a specialized lycanthrope disease. The Order is said to mix the House Sfant blood and lycanthropy of the strongest beasts of the underdark. Feeding this potion to those who wish to join and for those who are not blessed with immense arcane ability, it is said you will not survive the first sip.Champion:
Crek "The Slayer of the Domiel" of the Cracked Lands,Crek is said to be a rooster like beastfolk and far more capable then even the highest ranked of the gloom courts. Trained from birth as an assassin, Crek gained his nickname for slaying a beast that was said to have slaughtered a stronghold of gloom. Wiping the creature out in a single night, Crek found himself redeemed and now with a new path in life he could stand by. Serving the natural order of the world as dutifully as he could. Refusing those who serve the Law Bearers to gain a foothold. And putting his trained skills that he gained from his former master to good use.
