Old Sir Sparkly

Old Sir Sparkly is best described as a large platinum round ball with a face that seems to be denoted by the golden patch that is exposed. The large mineral quasi elemental is well known to take on the appearance of a niwarve when it deals with other creatures, with a long beard of silver and eyes of mythril. A few researchers did note that the creature seems to have suffered permanent damage from an acid like attack as it’s noted to have permanent melted ore marks across its body in different areas.
His large purple worm is noted to be decorated with many individual golden rings at different junctures of its body. Each ring seems to have magical abilities granting the creature more power. The large purple worm's name is Glitterhoof and it seems to be stronger than the average ancient dragon when it comes to carrying capacity. As the creature seems to easily lift and charge into battle with Old Sir Sparkley mounted.

Temperament

Known to be lacking in the ability to communicate, Glitterhoof does the majority of the talking. As the creature has been blessed with 4 rings of intellect across its long body that are used as decorations of sorts on the creature. From our understanding Old Sir Sparkly hates evil creatures as they cause him physical pain. Otherwise, he is similar to a child or an elderly person in which he seems to want to be left alone. Though it is noted that according to Glitterhoof, when he had attacked Old Sir Sparkly, he barely escaped alive. At which point the creature was said to have crossed several continents until landing here and forcing it to serve the creature. Thus, we have gathered that the creature is definitely stubborn and does not take being attacked lightly.

Though this creature is noted to be quite tough and to have gathered a small army of earth elementals that follow it. Old Sir Sparkly is stubborn and lacking in intelligence, though any adventurer who is looking to kill this creature would find themselves in a shallow grave if they believe the creature is lacking in sense. While intelligent as an average child, this creature is not so dumb that it would walk into a pit trap or fall for an obvious ambush. Rather that its lack of intelligence should give you the advantage when it comes to information the creature has and its lack of danger sense when food is involved.

History

It is unknown of the true origin of Old Sir Sparkly, or if his age is actually as ancient as we first believed. With abilities similar to the elder elementals. It is easy to believe that Old Sir Sparkly is at least as old as the world itself. And with his sudden arrival from the underdark chasing purple worms, there is no doubt that this creature may be prehistoric. Though the other elder elementals who travel the mortal plane have stated they know nothing of him, they do note that they know nothing of his kind. Leading historians to believe that he is originally from the dark continent. The rumored and yet undiscovered continent where creatures of higher magical ability dwell. For the fact that he was hunting large purple worms and is noted to not have any fear of the Cthulutian hive just north of him. Many believe the creature to have seen and fought far worse.
