House Mor'in

Organization Category:

Noble House

Organization Specialization:

Ancient Magics, Research, and item acquisition.

Sigil:

A seven legged black window spider that is in the center of a large magical circle. The edges of the magical circle are depicted as having ancient demonic runes carved into it if it's real. Each of these runes is said to hold the soul of a fallen Mor’in.

Owner:

Our research has found that there is a current leader. However, their name continues to remain a mystery. Whoever they are, the last known location was said to be the dark continent.

Founder:

Another interesting question for our research. With little found on the house, we only know that it started in the age of the fae. While maintaining immense power throughout the clouded age and beyond.

Subsidiaries:

House Morn
A house led by Jakix "The Red Eyed" of Mor'in during the alignment wars. The house would go on to have nearly two hundred members. However as the clouded age came to an end. The nobles who claimed Morn would one by one vanish.

House Mor'ik
Founded by Jakik "Alignment Breaker" Mor'in from the The Three Conquerer's War. The house would unfortunately die out after Jakik vanished from history. Many believe his heirs were either hunted down, captured or killed for other demon-folk. Whatever the case may be, none who once claimed the name still reside with the living today.

House Theith
A head house led by the strongest of the Mor'ins who would call themselves Theith. The house was well respected within the seven families. Counted as the main body of the Mor’ins. Each Theith was said to represent the best of their particular branch of the family.

House Hrimpursar
A house that would be founded later with a mixing of blood between the Mor'in and the dark king's heirs. They would later die out during the battle against a disease ridden cataclysmic dragon. Rumor has it, the battlefield was so well preserved, that the dragon and the army that served the house can still be found to this day. Locked in whorefrost forever in an ancient battle.

Renown members:

The Theiths
With so many that managed to accomplish greatness. We felt it right to recognize the name for its true power. Those who are said to be granted the name of Theith or "Destiny's End”, are said to be amongst the most powerful in ancient demon-folk history.

Kaijun Mor'in "Fate's Slayer"
The eldest being of the current house Mor’in and also noted as “Apex Hunter”. He is a being in a classification of his own. Wanted across multiple nations, powerful enough to fight S+ rank beasts by himself. Few can compare to such power. And fewer can understand such a creature. Appearing with his bright and golden eyes, he is a master of both mana and martial techniques. We fully believe that Kaijun may be the last remaining member of the true Mor’in bloodline, as well as the only demon-folk not sealed that is from The Clouded Age. We note this as this would make him powerful enough to split continents, fight and defeat almost the majority of the world leaders by himself. As well as cause utter despair to the world, yet the being sees no interest in any of it. Preferring to follow those who seem to have grand “Fates” as he calls it. Not explaining further, we assume he enjoys watching the rise and fall of heroes and villains. As a being so old would have little else to find enjoyment with.

Baal "The Breaker of Darkness" Mor'in
The second born or the first son of Kaijun, we are fully unsure. Baal is noted as the only member amongst the clan with purple eyes that glimmer like amethyst. He is said to be quite powerful with both cthulutian mana but as well as one of the fastest blades alive. Baal is said to be in rebellion against the current Mor’in’s, according to the Iron Heart Merchant Company. Though little proof any such division has been found amongst the elite group of demon-folk.

Clethra "The Broken Heiress" Mor'in
While the first two are well known through there connections, Clethra is almost completely unknown to anyone. Through our research of the Tombs of Canniballa, we did find that she was at the center of a feud. House Mor’in and House Zonde/Zhonde (depending on the translation)were said to absolutely despise one another. With it all originating from Clethra being taken prisoner during a raid. As the young daughter would spend her youth groomed by the elder leader of the house. Clethra would eventually break out, killing many of the Zonde members. However, this was noted to have been upon her adult years, after many centuries of torture. Thus it was said that when Clethra escaped, she swore a blood oath of sorts. Forcing her entire house to go into a rage upon a Zondes appearance. Unfortunately for the house Mor’in the individual that had been killed was the leader of the Zonde. And thus the house Zonde would accept the blood feud, and the two families were said to be at each other's throats for the rest of The Clouded Age.

Sunoth "Phthonus"
While outside of his name, we know truly nothing of him. Sunoth was described as beautiful beyond all means. He was also noted as completely insane, having slain those who learned of his ancient craft. We believe this craft to do with the ancient “Blood Mana” technique, though no proof could be found. Our only link to such a claim is that his magic allowed him to stay “Forever Youthful and magically constituted”. With the unique language, this has led us and other researchers to concur that this was the birth of Blood Magic itself.

Theith "Wandering Mirror"
By his title alone this should confirm your worst nightmare. While Kaijun is by all means the scariest amongst the current members. Theith “Wandering Mirror” is by far the most violent. Once the slayer of a Law Bearer of Eternal Kindness and another of Eternal Success. Theith is said to be the only being to have gone on such a rampage that the Law Bearers themselves were forced to act. These days, we believe he has been sealed by his own family, though we did note his appearance on a young noble within the court of Mor’in Isle.

Aine Mor'in "Magic's Flame"
The ever consuming flame and the only member of the Mor’in family willing to speak with us directly. We of course turned this offer down, as fear of being devoured or our magic stolen was directly on our minds. Aine is best described as a half jaebrin and half elf, with her overall figure seemingly following her elven heritage. She is the only member amongst the family who looked to be quite young and seemed to be far less mature. She is noted for her strong will, hatred of magic, and is believed to have been responsible at birth for causing the elves to lose their magic. Forcing them to devour those who are magically gifted to acquire further powers.

Jakix Mor'in "The Red Cat"
An infamous thief, cat burglar, and artifact smith, Jakix also known as “The Mad Fox” is said to be the youngest of the current Mor’ins. Taking his name from another powerful member of the family, and uncle of Kaijun. Jakix is well known for his almost identical appearance to a younger Kaijun. Though his eyes are noted as red, as well as his hair being a similar color. He is quite unique in his obsession for ancient and powerful artifacts. Not only capable of assessing great quality, but also capable of repeating the creation of anything he has seen. Jakix is both quite the collector and a master smith in his own right. Though his sad fate and his last known location are quite worrying. Finding himself locked away within the “Dragon Pits” of Dragon’s Crown.

Locations:

Mor’in Isle

Upon our research, it is an island said to be in between the planes of existence. A sort of floating island filled with vast manors and shops all ran by demon-folk sworn to the main house. Royal estates dot the island with the many lower houses having their own land amongst them. Vast churches dot the island with strange charcoaled trees sitting in the center of them. Each carved into with a spider matching the families sigil. While the island is overall pleasant, it is strange that most of its inhabitants have blue and green eyes.

Destiny’s Peak

A mountain said to be on the Dark Continent itself. The strange mountain is said to be vast with what we call Death Ore. Though the house seems to refer to it as “Destiny’s Rebellion” in all their records that we found on the Mor’in Isle. The mountain itself is noted to be mined out with a vast castle keep beneath its hardened exterior. Thousands of demon-folk seem to be hidden within, many of the family's bloodline it would appear.

The Dark Skull Isle

One of the minor islands off The Dark Continents main land. We only noted that it seems to be a place of research and understanding. Though little else is listed, there is a sizable population of jotun found around the island. Listed as “Hunt to Extinction”, it does not take much imagination to wonder what is going on within such a strange land.

Unique and Common Services:

Theft, assassination, outright evil seem to be all we can find of the group.

Annual Income:

The immense wealth is uncalculatable. The best we could account for, is that we should be happy the family is not interested in wealth. Instead they seem to be hoarding there resources.
