All on a green background with runes on either side of the founder’s head that read in dwarvish "Forsaken or not, Strength will be our Weapon.". These are said to be the last mad ramblings of Óri "The Insane" of House BronzebeardOwner:
Derigan "The Master's Soul" of House Bronzebeard, a Snowbeard known for his obsession with the past glories of his house. Derigan "The Master's Soul" was said to be the only graduate of Jamesdregeron "The Elder" of clan Frost Buster smithy apprenticeship. Having mastered the Dragon's Forge and learned the art of the Frost Buster clan, it is said that Derigan is a grander smith than any of his house before him. Having mastered smithing with the likes of dragons, devils and Jotuns. Derigan "The Master's Soul" now finds himself obsessed over the lost weapon of his great grandsires. Swearing to either find it himself or make a weapon that puts it to shame. Few doubt the arrogant but capable Derigan "The Master's Soul" of House Bronzebeard.Founder:
Óri "The Insane" of House Bronzebeard was said to be quite insane for his time. Being born with the ability to hear and see souls of those that passed, it wasn't long before the young apprentice smith met the wrong soul. Having made a pact one late night to make his weapon forever grander than that of the other apprentices. It is said that Óri "The Insane" would forever after that night be found talking to himself when alone. And even in some cases striking thin air in anger or having arguments with himself. But no one could deny his ability with a hammer and forge. Thus, as Óri "The Insane" reputation would grow, so would the family wealth. His four sons already used to his strangeness find themselves also gifted with his ability. From here it is said that Óri "The Insane" with the help of his sons would find the largest conglomerate of souls and build their keep. Mastering the art of soul smithing and forcing the damned who would not move on to serve the house. Óri "The Insane" would in his later years produce a masterwork weapon for each of the houses that would go on to represent their position and nobility. To this day, only one of the weapons has been lost to history, each is still valued and treasured well beyond what a nation is worth.Subsidiaries:
Clan Deathweed
The druidic order of the house was founded by the younger brother of Óri "The Insane" of House Bronzebeard. The clan is said to specialize in its raising of desert plants and its terrifying necromancy magic. The clan is known to act as the bulwark of House Bronzebeards magical division. With clan Deathweed maintaining most of the food for the House and other clans, as well as the study of the deceased.Clan Coalbeard
A clan of miners and adventurers who specialize in retrieving willing and unwilling fuel for the House Bronzebeard. Said to be a clan of assassins who dye their beards as black as the Bronzebeard skin, and infiltrate at night. With many strong and weak alike finding themselves vanishing from society to only end up chained to an anvil. Their souls stolen from them and offered to the item being created.Lesser Clan Shaven Beard
A lesser clan that was created due to the immense number of members of House Bronzebeard that fail their coming of age rituals. Thus, those that failed to produce an item of masterwork quality and with an ego within. Would be sent to the lesser clan Shaven Beard, and forced to forever live on with no beard. Each member given noble right but little power, as they act as the middle Betepah for the House Bronzebeard vanguard.Renown members:
Nali "Corpse Dealer" of House Bronzebeard
First born daughter of Derigan "The Master's Soul" and expected heir to House Bronzebeard. Nali is currently married to the heir of clan Deathweed and is said to have most of the other clans on her side. With her necromancy capabilities and education in magic from the court of Mov'asi himself. Few believe that her younger brother has a chance for the throne, and even fewer believe he would want it. But Nali is believed to be hated by her father due to the estrangement between her and her mother. With Nali puppeting her mother’s corpse around with her everywhere she goes, the young but powerful waroen is believed to fall too close to the family tree. Granting rumors amongst multiple courts of the "Corpse Dealer" and her willingness to cut down those who insist her mother is dead.Nípingr "The Handsomely Dark" of House Bronzebeard
The younger brother of Nali "Corpse Dealer" and second born of Derigan "The Master's Soul". Nípingr found himself from a young age trained to rule and expected to take up his father’s throne upon his death. However, as Nípingr grew older and his love for the multiple brothels became more well known. Few believed Nípingr for much more than a whore's son who had tricked or slept his way to his position. Though fewer know the truth of the young man and his multiple businesses. While having no head for rulership, Nípingr is said to be quite the capable businessman. Currently rumored to own every brothel from the snow beard lands to Diamond's Death.Locations:
Desert's Rest
A stronghold deep within the territory of the desert to the south west of the snow beard territories. The stronghold of Desert's Rest is said to be the only one of its kind due to the agreement with the land owners of old. Swearing an oath to prevent the creatures of the deep from arising, in return the House of Bronzebeard is granted the mining rights within twenty miles of its lands underground. Now Desert's Rest stands an oasis in the middle of the vast empty land of sand they call home. With the only source of water within the desert naturally, it is said adventurers and travelers alike are drawn to the stronghold. Though few who head within ever leave, as those who displease the difficult house will find themselves blessed with the greatest honor. As the cities many smithies erupt with noise and the screams of the forsaken are lost to the metal and forging.Unique and Common Services:
