While her origin is fully covered with mystery, Ela Ugbo remains one of the strangest gods we have researched. Her sweet origin began in an age when kindness was considered a weakness. Ela Ugbo is believed to have been a Mortal of demon-folk and hag origins during the beginning of The Clouded Age. With some researchers believing that she was not in fact Hag blooded, but rather Fae blooded and the sister of The Painted Queen and the leader of house Sfant. Though these are only speculation through depictions in artwork discovered from the age. Ela Ugbo was confirmed to have a group of knights that served as protectors of the weak during The Clouded Age. And that would be the first actual recorded point in history where she would be mentioned.

Death, Demonic, Protection, and Life. With Death as her dominant domain Ela Ugbo has been given the right by the Law Bearer of Undeath to continue her rule as she had. Serving as the “Mother of Death”, she is often perceived by the public as being the kind lady who walks you to your end. However, her demonic and protection domains tell you of a darker story that once happened in The Clouded Age that would see her champions slain. Lastly as well as recently gained Life stands as the most common combination and branch of holy men within her faith in The First Age.
Races that Follow
While no specific species has recognized Ela Ugbo as their god, that is not surprising given the political implications that would lead to. However, almost every city has a minor branch of her followers serving with many having taken up service in burial duties. Respecting cultures while also blessing those on their way to the afterlife, the monks of Ela Ugbo are welcomed nearly everywhere.
Preferred Item
A warhammer that is said to have her crest made from silver while its face and claw resemble that of a shield outlined by platinum hands. This weapon is supposed to resemble that which her followers originally had, taking life in means of maintaining the innocence of the world.
Church/Pantheon
While Ela Ugbo is not openly welcoming to most gods due to their naturally violent or lecherous views. She is recognized as the leader of the Pantheon of Death in which all draw from her authority.

None that she has allowed to be created within The First Age, though a single adventurer from The Unfortunate Sons is seeking to change that.

None, as she refuses to put another in such harm as it were. However, that has not stopped many of her holy men from trying. Now with nearly four candidates for the position, soon she may be forced to choose.
Symbol
A small white wooden shield of hands grasping in a circular form. The hands are typically silver or platinum in their making. With the shields typically being small pieces of great wood that they themselves ventured to carve out. Though this is said not to be the truly holy symbol of Ela Ugbo, few know what her original followers once used.
