Cereseki

General

A hivekin who had grown to a size beyond any hivekin before it. Cerseki was said to be born to the Mother of all Hivekin, a twin to The Pale Eye itself. Though larger and in a more powerful position, Cerseki was once considered quite a weak monster during The Clouded Age. Having taken up residency with The Painted Queen, it is said that Cerseki would later learn her mana techniques by replicating all it saw. Eventually when the demon-folk's time came and The Clouded Age ended, Cerseki would position itself within the snow dwarves' territories. Slowly granting great gifts of fertility and growth in exchange for worship. Thus, with time the god would rise and cause many of the noble houses within the SnowBeard Kingdom to turn to evil almost naturally, even in its most lawful of views. However, a unique fact to come out of this was the confirmation that those called “Storm Beards” or the storm dwarves would find themselves as the “good” cousins who were exiled. Allowing for many of the ancient dwarven legends to be preserved and the culture kept relevant.

Gods Name

Cerseki "The First Eye", Cerseki “The Stone’s Judge” after his capture by the house of Stone.

Diety Level

Minor God

Domain

Evil was the only domain that Cerseki was said to be able to naturally pull toward. Never truly gifting any fertility or natural growth, but rather diseased and deceptive dealings to ensure worship.

Races that Follow

The Snow Dwarves though mainly amongst the noble houses, as many commoners preferred to worship jotun deities.

Preferred Item

A necklace of hivekin eye gems is the typical symbol of the unholy individuals who serve such a twisted god. As it is common knowledge that a wellfed Hivekin can produce a single adult goblin fist sized gemstone every year from its eye. This is a result of the physical product left behind by the mana techniques used called Mesna. This Mesna in a Hivekin is said to build up and form a large stone that can then be refined and used as a mana technique focus for many specific spells. Each varies in coloration depending on the spell commonly used by that eye and the size of the eye itself. However when refined for mana techniques each is shaped as a singular eye to reflect the hivekin it came from. Then placed within a necklace the item will glimmer with mana as its wearer is casting divine spells.

Church/Pantheon

No church would welcome Cerseki amongst their church, let alone their pantheon. However, it should be mentioned that while Law Bearers are not traditionally pantheon rulers. Tensub does seem to show a strange favoritism toward the weaker god, granting him and his followers gifts even when enslaved by another.

Holy Order

None that are still around after The Red Snow War, however there is a known group of exiled snow dwarves who followed Alfred Stone to the Kllozin lands to live out their days. Many of which were known members of the former group called “The Second Eyed Watch” who were known to recruit those with demon-folk bloodlines to their ranks. And who fully served both the royal Vendkasz line but also Cerseki himself.

Champion

Uthgarm Vendkasz, though this would change after The Red Snow War in which Uthgarm would instead join with House Mor’in in hopes of gaining further power. Now Cerseki’s is known to have no champion capable of claiming the title and freeing him.
