Multiattack: The fire lizard makes one claw and one bite attack.   Bite: Melee Weapon Attack: +0 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1 piercing damage.   Claw: Melee Weapon Attack: +0 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1 slashing damage.   Fire Breath (Recharge 5-6): The fire lizard exhales fire in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in the area must make a DC 9 Dexterity saving throw, taking 1d6 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one.

Fire lizards are a tiny dragon about the size of a large bird. They come in the colors red, blue, gold, bronze, and green. They have three sets of eyelids, the innermost being a transparent membrane that allows the lizard to see where it is going while its eyes remain protected from harsh environments, such as sandstorms. Depending on how awake they are, all three can be open. The fire lizards can be bonded by anyone who is there when they are hatched and that feeds and cares for them.   Fire Lizards lack the ability to communicate in words, but can have limited success telepathically communicating pictures and thoughts. They are, however, strongly affected by emotions and events around them, to the point of hysteria. Fire lizards are very sociable creatures, who travel in fairs and love to sing. There seems to be a group consciousness, on a basic level, that allows all fire lizards to experience large events.   Occasionally one can find a Fire Lizard egg for sale, typically they sell for anywhere from 200 to 500 gold each, though the Jai typically do their best to prevent people collecting the eggs to sell.

Wild Fire lizards are only known to live wild in the Valenwood.
