Vyska

Vyska is a powerful and enigmatic Githyanki Royal Knight who emerged from a millennia-long petrification in the cursed Ezodwyn Oasis, becoming a pivotal, if initially hostile, ally to the adventuring party. Hailing from Tu’narath, a kingdom far beyond the known reaches of Regalia (or Sidera, as she calls the continent), her very presence is akin to encountering an alien, a living testament to civilizations and powers beyond mortal comprehension.   Originally dispatched by her people's Circle of Sages on a critical quest to locate and investigate the Four Pillars of Aegis, Vyska became trapped in stone while pursuing her mission. Upon her unpetrification by the party, she initially met them with the ferocity of a cornered warrior, a testament to her formidable combat skills. However, once convinced of their non-hostile intentions, her pragmatic nature shone through. She quickly became an invaluable fount of ancient, cosmic lore, revealing the much needed lore of the Pillars of Aegis. More chillingly, she exposed Legion as a fanatical cult that protect these Pillars, believing they will unlock a "Prophecy of Truth" dictated by their mysterious leader, "Mother."   Vyska fights with alien tactics and formidable skill, proving invaluable against the otherworldly threats the party faces, including the infernal legions of Ramiel. While she aligns herself with the party's quest for justice and to stop the Legion, her deepest, unspoken motivation remains a profound yearning to complete her mission and find a way to return to her true home, Tu’narath. Her presence constantly reminds the adventurers of the vast, complex cosmos beyond Regalia's borders and the ancient conflicts that still echo through time.
