There was an immense disturbance in the emptiness beyond the stars, and in reaction, Si momentarily reawoke and repaired the rift in an astronomical display of power with disastrous consequences.

Whatever Si was defending Sil from, it must have been truly terrifying for it to warrant such chaos as what resulted from Their wise actions. The continent Sidelliar was shattered into seven great continents, the largest of which was Syrel, and the ensuing confusion and chaos directly resulted in the war that ended the First Empire, Elvaris.
