To the world at large, she started as an unimportant woman destined to live a poor life as a criminal or prostitute.   When she was a young woman she was roped into trouble that ran across the rising prince’s warpath. Izanagi Ambrose was quite a roguish character at the time spending his time slumming and galavanting rather than studying. During these misadventures, he ended up getting into trouble with crime bosses, gambling dens, and brothel owners. Kuroko was amongst the brothels as a prostitute at the time. Her claim to fame was her magical ability to seduce any man which was turned against Izanagi. Unfortunately for her, Izanagi was not a man to be charmed so easily and a fight broke out. Izanagi won the fight, she barely escaped. When she found herself as the focal point of the bosses anger, she went to the only person she thought of and went to Izanagi. He agreed to help her and so they began their first leg of adventures.   After few years Izanagi had calmed down for a bit and she returned to her brothel and got dragged right back into the criminal business. This time, however, she was a boss, she returned to her home and found a place there waiting. Her fame and newfound power raising her status and power in the underworld. It was only a short while later when those around her turned her against Izanagi, who was now the Magistrate of the City of Raypath. She attempted to betray him and ended up on the losing side once again. When she was captured he gave her a thorough dressing down and convinced her that she was in the wrong.After that, she apologized and asked to follow him once again. He gladly accepted, and shortly thereafter he was named Royal Secretary. He used this job as an excuse to go adventuring about once again.   After this second wave of misadventures, he returned home for the final leg of his ascension, finding a wife. They returned home to Raypath and went their separate ways again, this time when she returned home she was the unchallenged boss. After all, she had done abroad, and her close relationship with Izanagi, none challenged her. She quickly got her revenge on those who haunted her and then used her power to conquer the underworld from the Red light district.   Unfortunately, her goals and desires quickly turned in on themselves. While Izanagi courted her, she used her status to manipulate and control those both beneath and around her. This culminated in her attempt to mind control Izanagi. Unsurprisingly, she failed again, this time not from being defeated by Izanagi, but from an attack of conscience. She revealed what she had done and Izanagi broke it off with her there.   While they fell apart romantically, they grew to be much better friends and with Izanagi’s help solidified her position in the Red Light District. By the time Izanagi had married and become Emperor, she had effectively dismantled the worst of her criminal enterprises and set herself up in the Jade Beauty.   She meets with him every so often, her relationship with Izanagi and his other traveling companions has remained strong, if distant. Currently, she runs the Jade Beauty Brothel as her personal palace. Those who work there are her family, and she will defend them with her life. While she profits and supports various underground locales, she does not allow them to overstep their bounds, ensuring that the grey area of the Red Light district is maintained.

Adventured across the Empire with Izanagi.   Was considered a possible wife for Izanagi.   Currently the most powerful person in the Red Light district.   Runs the Jade Beauty and is quite proud of those who work and live there.

She was once a lowly prostitute and was used against Izanagi Ambrose in his youth.   She betrayed Izanagi twice, once while pressured by the other criminal elements of the Red Light district, the second in an attempt to control the city which she ultimately gave up.

Calm, cool, and always looking for a way to change things in her favor. While not well educated, she is well acquainted with formal custom, seduction, manipulation, and control of others.

She only has two beliefs, that her family must be safe and that she must be in charge, all else is secondary.

Maintain her power in the Redlight District and protect those who work and live in her home.

While a wealthy member of the city, most of her wealth is in her home and business, the Jade Beauty. All of the rest of her wealth is in her connections and influence in both public and underworld circles.
