Ganeshans were made by the Goddess Vashkanava to carve the fine details into Shinxia and to manage the planet. They are the first sapient species to live on the planet and as a whole are steadfastly pacifistic, preferring simple agrarian lifestyles or monastic scholarship to more urban lifestyles. They can be slow and ponderous, but those same traits make them steady and secure allies.
Though they have a strong preference for pacifism, they are far from defenseless. Their large size and natural strength makes them fearsome warriors and few armies can boast of their lines having withstood a Ganeshan charge.
They often enjoy meditative arts.
