S.W.O.R.D. Threat #804: Peter Quill/Star-Lord

• Translator Implant: Peter has a translator implant on his neck allowing him to understand various alien languages.
• Nova Corps Space Helmet: Having since ditched his Ravager space helmet, Mr. Quill has been gifted a Nova Corps-issued Space Helmet.

1. Size-Alteration: The helmet can be unfurled and retracted into an unknown space on his head.
2. Oxygen Supply: has an atmospheric re-breather system that lets Quill survive the vacuum of space unaided.
3. Pressure Support: The helmet protects the wearer's face from sudden changes in air pressure.

• Spartaxian Element Guns: Twin pistols capable of conjuring the four elements and recombining them for varied appellations.
• Nova Corps Jet Boots: Pair of hover shoes powered by the Uni-Power that enables Mr. Quill to achieve flight and levitation getting to, from, and around various points at expedient rates

Peter Quill was conceived as a result of the love between the Terran Meredith Quill and the Spartax Emperor at the time, J'son. J'son left Earth soon after conceiving Peter in order to continue his intergalactic war, leaving Meredith on Earth in order to protect her. Nine months later, during an unusual astronomical phenomenon when many of the planets aligned, Peter was born. For ten years, Quill was raised by Meredith who remained a single mother but had help from her parents Kurtis and Lisa Quill that is until she passed away from brain cancer in 1989. Mr. Quill then spent the next several months living under the care of his grandparents. On December 6th, 1989, the Chitauri attacked the Quill residence killing Mr. Quill's grandparents and abducting the child. The Chitauri, working under Thanos, attempted to use Mr. Quill as leverage against the Spartax Empire encouraging them to trade political secrets with Thanos. Fortunately, the Chitauri ship was intercepted by a group of space pirates known as the Ravagers who seized the ship and all of its belongings including Mr. Quill. Mr. Quill was raised and trained under the tutelage of Yondu Udonta and aided many of his illicit activities. After a noticeably messy falling out between Mr. Quill and Yondu, Mr. Quill ventured to Spartax to finally meet his father. While there, he was welcomed into the royal family and met his half-sister, Mantis. Mr. Quill was chosen to represent the Spartax Empire in the Nova Corps and was even given the royal heirlooms, the Spartaxian Element Guns. Mr. Quill quickly rose through the ranks of the Nova Corps showing a knack for combat eventually being promoted to captain of a squadron. Unfortunately, Mr. Quill deserted his squadron mid-battle resulting in the deaths of every soldier sent to the conflict. Mr. Quill has recently been enlisted in the Nova Corps Reformation Program alongside his fellow prisoners of war: Gammora, Drax the Destroyer, Groot, and Rocket Raccoon.
