Bloodguard Adventurers Guild

For centuries, this guild has traversed the wilds, taking on new adventures, seeking thrills and quests like it is the only way to live. Those who join are forever members, given a badge of the guild's logo and motto. There are fifteen locations around the world, with the main headquarters being located in the Kheven Empire. Other locations can be found in the capitals of various other countries.
"Some might find the guild a bit unconventional, but I see it as a way for everyone to socialize and discover the joys and wonders of Derelen. I certainly have. My team, the Wildlings, barely could stand one another when we first met. Why Radella hated Zarrakmar upon all of us getting jailed over a tavern brawl. Zarrakmar is the life of the entire crew - he knew the wilderness better than any of us, including Rugna, a goblin no less!   "To those of you who may question if your team is good, find yourself drawn into a perilous quest where danger could also be a friend in disguise. You might be surprised what you find along the way...."
— a snippet from Maetheus, the Forgotten's journal

When proceeding through the ranks, a member is given a new badge with their ranking animal replacing the bow and arrows. A member can also check on their ranking number upon heading to the main headquarters.   Every quarter of the year, new badges are given out at the guild the members first signed up with. If the member has been traveling for quite some time, they can take the opportunity to return to their first guild or ask another guild in their immediate area to mail it to them.

Culture

Rank always matters within the guild. The higher one's status means they have access to functions within a city, such as balls, city meetings, and have a better chance at gaining audience with officials within a city or other guild. Members must present themselves with dignity and kindness. Adventure is always the goal of the BGAG, so the top ten expects all members to not sully the guild's name (i.e. threaten others, start wars, etc), and to always protect those weaker than them.
Joining the Guild
If a citizen seeks adventure, they can find a guild in on of fifteen locations around Derelen, where they will speak to the head of the location to become a trainee. For a single year, they must work to prove themself and accompany other ranked officials on quests before undergoing an assessment by one of the top ten of the entire guild. This can only be achieved by receiving a letter that says go to one of three locations to be assessed. The assessment involves three of the top 10 traveling with the trainee on a mission. Once completed, they are given the average badge of the guild -- the one with a bow and three arrows.
