The Multiverse

There are two primary types of Planes, Prime Planes and Elemental Planes. There are numerous Elemental Planes, but only one known Prime Plane, Shattered Kingdoms. While there is only one this know, it's possible there are countless more.

Primary Planes

Each prime plane has it's own unique source of magic, made from a combination of the five elemental sources. It's this magic that dictates the laws of each prime plane. Additionally there are attached two mirror planes for each prime plane, These mirror planes are reflections of the prime plane that it is attached to. One of the mirror planes is a positive energy plane, made of up wild and untamed magic where passion and emotions rule, often referred to as the Fey Wildes. The other mirror plane is a negative energy plane, where the vitality of the world is washed away and emotions such as joy are sapped away and sorrow and fear rule, known as the Shadowfell

Elemental Planes

The other common type of plane is know as an elemental plane. There are five types of elemental planes, earth, fire, water, air and spirit. Each elemental plane draws from one of those five magical sources. These magic sources all bleed through the layers of the multiverse and are connected to the prime planes.

For example, the Planes of Hell would be considered fire planes, while the plane of Lunestera would be considered an earth plane.
