Magistrate's Manor

A tall building in the center of Rindō constructed of finer materials than any other structure save Moonlit Rest. From outside, it's the only building which can be seen above the treeline surrounding town. The Magistrate's Manor serves as a hub for administrative control. In truth, the town is largely self-operating and the manor receives relatively few visitors. These are fewer still thanks to the current Magistrate, Shosuro Jūko, and her venomous tongue. Still, it is their duty to welcome visitors, hold negotiations, and hear the pleas of the peasants from this unassuming court.   Some attempts were made, probably by a past Magistrate hoping to spruce things up, to create a simple topiary garden in front of the manor. These bushes, since left untended for years, have overgrown their planters and swarmed around the path leading to the building's entrance. Now only a rabbit trail, carved out by the coming and going of peasants, marks any sort of direct access to its doors.
