Tar'raq Naeth began as the rallying cry of the resistance during the Stonesky Riots, meaning "Price of Freedom".
Towards the end if the riots, and ever since, it has also become the name for the ongoing resistance organisation.
Often shortened to "Tar Naeth", it is a reclamation of the term "Naeth" used by the Lords of Fire to mean oath-breaker, or faithless. The resistance see this breaking of oaths as a source of pride as they struggle for their independance from the powers of The Gleaming City.

Structure
Tar Naeth is highly decentralised in its organisation, with small cells operating independantly from each other as a means to keep the full extent of the network safe. This is extremely critical as the senior Illuminators can employ magics to weed out the weak-minded.
Activities of the cells are very loosely coordinated through word-of-mouth by operatives known as the Eknar'naeth, meaning the 'unbound'. These operatives have perfected blood-magical means of supressing and obsucuring their true motives and allegiances from the Illuminators in order to pass undetected.

History
The resistance began during the Stonesky Riots, and at its height was led by Impetine herself. When impetine brokered peace and became a Lord of fire herself, the organisation was officially disbanded.
A number of members were not happy with the outcome, and saw Impetine's apothesosis as a betrayal. These revolutionaries continued in secret. They agitate against the Lords of Fire, including their former leader, for what they see as the emancipation of the people from the tyrrany of The Gleaming City.

Territories
Cells of the Tar'raq Naeth operate across the Stonesky reaches, and in many communities along the Godswollen River. There is even a cell rumoured to be operating in the Warrens beneath The Gleaming City, and their agents active within the bustling streets of the Shadow ward.
Foreign Relations
The Tar'raq Naeth often works with The Icerunners Guild and even has secret dealing with The League of Shadows when the need arises. Many are sheltered within the gangs of the Warlords of the Deadlands.
