Nukra Ukobishven (NOOK-rah oo-KO-bish-ven)
Nukra's family runs a small inn known as the Mudstop on the banks of the Godswollen River, about halfway between the Old Torrent falls and the Stonesky Drainage, not far from the ruins of Dam Nation. He is the youngest child of two, and works with his mother in the kitchen, preparing meals for visitors, while his father and older sister run the tavern bar.
His family are tithed to Ukobis, the Fire Lord known as the Ebullient and patron to those working in hospitality. The tavern has a shrine to Ukobis at the main entrance, and his father performs nightly rituals of song and dance to entertain visitors and keep the devotion to their Lord alive.
Nukra is not smart, but he understands flavour. He spends hours in the kitchen preparing meals for the guests of the Mudstop. When not preparing meals, he is seeking ingredients from the merchants who travel the river, or those that come in from the desert.
His speciality is a variant of Salt plum dumplings that includes dried Zikiti Crabs imported from the Uferbrech archipelago. These have become very popular with visitors to the Mudstop, not just for their taste, but for the mildy hallucinogenic properties they bring.

General Physical Condition
Nukra is large, both tall and weighty. He is strong, but has obviously eaten much of what he cooks for the guests of the Mudstop.
Facial Features
His horns are still relatively short, and his firetouched markings still show the subtely of his youth. His expression is usually one which indicates to others he is slightly confused, but content with that confusion.
Physical quirks
Nukra is constantly sniffing the air, subconsciously examining the aromas of his surroundings for any evidence of food preparation.
Special abilities
He has an overpowered and delicate sense of smell, able to detect foodstuffs within his vicinity with ease. His taste is also advanced and he can easily work out the ingredients used within most cooked food he encounters.
Over many years, Nukra has imbibed enough dried Zikiti Crabs that it has dulled his intelligence and memory, but heightened his ability to detect the true emotions and intent of people he encounters. This can be quite useful but also unsettling as he does not necessarily understand what he feels from these people and can easily be upset by strong emotions of others.

Mental Trauma
Nukra has had a very sheltered and supported life with his family, but has recently become more and more concerned about stories the Warlords and other visitors are bringing to the Mudspot about the increase in activity amongst the Soulhusk Chimeras, and the even more hushed rumours of the return of the Dead Lord Kholkosi.
His heightened sensitivity brought on by his use of Zikity only makes this worse. He is trying to keep his paranoia under control, but doubts about Ukobis' ability to protect his family from this rumoured threat are mounting, potentially to the point of impacting his families Tithe Binding.
