3rd Body Art: The Rite of Innumerable Transformations
This spell allows the mage to not just mimic the appearance of any being they have overcome, but to fully assume their form, powers, and abilities. Unlike simpler shapeshifting spells, this advanced magic requires the creation of a Mold, capturing the full essence of the target. Once a Mold is created, the mage can transform into that being at will, even storing up to 72 different forms internally, effectively granting the mage multiple lives.- Strengths: The ability to take on any form, power, or skill the mage has defeated or outwitted offers unparalleled versatility. The spell allows for tactical adaptation to nearly any situation, as well as powerful defensive measures through the many lives a mage can live by switching between stored forms.
- Limitations: Molds are static, meaning they capture the target’s abilities at the time of the mage’s conquest. Any new abilities the target gains will not be reflected unless a new Mold is created. Additionally, the spell has counters, such as beings with the Truth Seeing Eye, who can see through these transformations.
3rd Body Art: Hellbent & Heavensent
This spell enables a mage to exist in the otherwise hostile realms of the Holy and Unholy Multiverses. After consuming the necessary divine and infernal fruits (Zaqqum and Ashvattha), the mage can transform into a being attuned to these realms: an Asura (Hellbent) or a Deva (Heavensent). In these forms, the mage can wield powers specific to these beings, such as Black Magic (Darkness) or Hallowed Magic (Light).- Strengths: Grants the mage the ability to survive and operate in divine or infernal realms while wielding powerful new magics normally inaccessible to mortals. The transformation also allows for tactical versatility, depending on whether the mage needs the destructive force of the Hellbent or the protective power of the Heavensent form.
- Limitations: The spell’s power is proportional to the mage’s base abilities, and the consumption of the fruits requires intense preparation. Additionally, the mage's power may be constrained depending on the realm they are in, and imbalances between the transformations can lead to instability.
