Ectoeohs, known as the "Otherworldly Horses" or "Supernatural Steeds," are a rare and highly sought-after breed of mystical equines that exist across the Holy, Mortal, and Unholy Multiverses. Their unique blend of magical and otherworldly attributes makes them indispensable to their masters, serving not just as mounts but as versatile, multi-functional companions. Their reputation stems from their extraordinary abilities, including the capability to be summoned or dismissed at will, their movement across various terrains, and their capacity to act as mobile storage units through pocket dimensional magic.
Summoning Mechanism and Symbiotic Bond
Ectoeohs are bound to their masters through a symbiotic magical contract. This bond is established through an intricate ritual involving the exchange of magical essence between the Ectoeoh and its summoner, permanently linking the two. The contract allows the master to summon or dismiss the Ectoeoh with a mere thought, regardless of distance. Remarkably, this summoning mechanism requires almost no Magical Energy expenditure, making it accessible even to novice magicians. The symbiotic relationship extends beyond mere summoning. Ectoeohs share a mental connection with their masters, enabling non-verbal communication. This mental link allows the Ectoeoh to understand its master’s needs, be it to navigate perilous terrains, engage in battle, or escape danger swiftly. The bond deepens with time, as the Ectoeoh becomes more attuned to its master’s magical signature, allowing for even faster and more efficient summoning.Dimensional Storage: More Than a Mount
One of the Ectoeohs' most remarkable features is their built-in pocket dimensional storage. Each Ectoeoh has access to a unique, self-contained space linked to its physical form, allowing their masters to store essential items or small objects. This magical storage system operates seamlessly through a simple mental command, enabling effortless retrieval or storage of belongings. However, this dimension is not infinite. Its capacity is determined by the breed of the Ectoeoh, with size and weight limitations varying depending on the steed. Some larger breeds can store larger or more cumbersome items, while others have more modest capacities. The storage capability offers practical advantages for adventurers, warriors, and mages who require quick access to tools, weapons, or magical artifacts. Pegasus Capabilities
- Water Manipulation: The power to manipulate water. users can create, shape, control, and manipulate water, they possess complete control over water and every form of water inorganic compounds with liquid, gas (steam, water vapor), and solid (ice) states, including changing them from one state to another. This involves water itself, ice in any form, sweat, blood, steam, water pressure, and other variations. More skilled and powerful users can use water-related weather such as blizzards and rainstorms and some can completely control the temperature of the water at will.
- Thundercloud Manipulation: The ability to manipulate thunderclouds. The user can create, shape, and manipulate thunderclouds, a variation of cloud that's associated with, and causes thunderstorms. This can also range towards different thunderstorm types, such as single to multi-cells, squall lines, to even the most powerful out of the four variations, supercells.
- Telepathy: The power to interact with others' minds with one’s mind. The user has telepathy, the psionic ability to read and control the minds and thoughts of humans, animals, and other sentient beings, and to transfer information from one mind to another without the aid of physical communication (noise or movement). A person with this ability is called a telepath. Users can receive and transmit information with one’s mind without physical interaction.
- Telekinesis: The power to move, manipulate, or otherwise interact with matter/energy without physical means. Telekinesis, which originates from the Greek words "tele" meaning "far off" and "kinesis" meaning "movement," is the ability to influence, control, or manipulate matter, energy, or even other aspects of the physical world using the power of the mind or through other non-physical means. This involves the fundamental trait of being able to move or interact with objects from a distance, without any physical contact, as well as the potential to generate and apply physical force to a target or an area.

The Sons of Pegasus
"But when Perseus had cut off the head of Medusa, there sprang from her blood stout-hearted Chrysaor and the horse Pegasus. And Pegasus flew away and left the earth, the mother of flocks, and came to the immortals; and he dwells in the house of Zeus and brings to Zeus the thunder and lightning."
Pegasus was the name of the second son of the Gorgon Queen Medusa and the Olympian God Poseidon, born with the form of an ivory steed bearing two great wings upon his back. Pegasus sired a new breed of Thoroughbred Ectoeohs, named after himself, that became exceptionally common place in the Holy Multiverse.
Breeds of Ectoeohs: Diversity of the Multiverse
Ectoeohs come in a variety of breeds, each with its own set of unique abilities, temperament, and physical characteristics. Over millennia, these creatures have evolved across different realms, often shaped by the environments and beings of the planes they inhabit.- Thoroughbred Ectoeohs: The original and most common breed, these majestic eight-legged steeds are capable of traversing almost any solid or liquid surface. Their exceptional loyalty and strength make them the perfect choice for novices and high-ranking nobility alike. Their speed, durability, and ability to carry large loads make them a versatile and reliable companion.
- Pegasus Breed: The Pegasus, revered as the steed of heroes in the Holy Multiverse, is a smaller but incredibly fast breed with great wings. Sired by Lord Pegasus, a Nephilim who formed them from clouds, they possess telepathic abilities and can communicate mentally with their master. Pegasus is also skilled in telekinesis, giving them a magical edge in both combat and daily tasks. Known for their pride and occasional arrogance, they are unmatched in speed and grace but can be challenging to control.
- Hierophus: A sub-breed of Pegasus exclusive to the Holy Multiverse, the Hierophus stands larger than its Pegasus cousins and sports two sets of wings. Their alabaster white coats radiate purity, and they are revered as sacred creatures by those in the Holy Realms. With a larger build and enhanced magical durability, they are often chosen by high-ranking angels and celestial beings as their steeds.
- Bicorn: Born from the union of Thoroughbred Ectoeohs and Unicorns from the Fifth Dimension, the Bicorn is a two-horned, wingless breed. They possess the rare ability to open portals through space-time, enabling instantaneous travel across dimensions. Their gentle temperament and stable demeanor make them ideal companions for long journeys and diplomatic missions.
- Hippokampos: The sea-horse-like Hippokampos breed is designed for underwater travel. Their horse-like upper body merges into a fish-like lower half, granting them exceptional speed and agility underwater. Small wings on their back allow for limited gliding above water. Hippokampos are known to be clever and resourceful, often outsmarting their enemies, but their sly nature makes them harder to tame.
- Shadhavar: Born from the union of Lord Pegasus and Queen Masdady, a Siren from the Unholy Multiverse, the Shadhavars are small, pony-sized creatures with a single demonic horn. This horn produces an enchanting melody capable of luring unsuspecting beings into a trance. Created for war, Shadhavars are dangerous, unruly steeds and only masters with strong willpower can resist falling prey to their own steed’s enchanting music.
- Amon: The Amon breed is a fusion of the Pegasus and Thoroughbred lines. These eight-legged, winged steeds are significantly larger than most other breeds and possess minor shapeshifting abilities. Their loyalty is unmatched, but earning the favor of an Amon is a grueling challenge. Once won over, however, they are among the most powerful and reliable of all Ectoeohs.
- Scorn: Unlike the organic Ectoeohs, the Scorn breed is a fusion of magic and technology. Created through a blend of various metals and Mercurium Vitae, Scorns are living robotic horses. Their mechanical design is both intimidating and practical, making them the preferred mount for technomancers, engineers, and those heavily reliant on technology. Scorns can withstand intense environments and are equipped with technological enhancements that make them formidable in both battle and travel.
