The Town of Valewood
The Town of Valewood existed before the Order formed. Built by a adventurous noble named Mirmat Avcrest, who was inspired by the location and decided to set down his roots there. It is nestled near large mountains, and rolling hills which give it a defensive advantage from local threats.
Founded primarily for the rich resources of the mountains it now serves as the primary source of metals and stone for the smiths and masons of the Order. It is considered a blessed place by many dwarves as it has rich veins of Mithril and other valuable ores which is unusual for the region. The town has grown over the centuries, and there are more recently newer smaller outlying villages popping up adding animal ranches, providing meat, cheese, and dairy to its abilities and specialties.
It is a settlement of decent size and growth and thus it is not uncommon for members of the order to be sent here to resolve the problems and woes of the town that are outside the reach of their local town watch. They tend to keep their local affairs in good order and the current Lady of Valewood has kept peace and prosperity to the town proper.
