Grand Protector Zhang Cao
Zhang Cao has been the Grand Protector and the leader of the Order of Sunshield for the past twenty years. A boisterous leader he is bold, Loud, and seemingly fearless.
The Grand Protector is generally lauded by those under his command. Their loyalty to him borders sometimes to fanatic levels. To an outsider looking in, it may seem surprising or undeserved. The man is far from being perfect. He drinks his fill at banquets, has a voracious appetite and speaks his mind bluntly and without filter. However the outside spectator into his life would not have had the chance to witness what he has done to earn the loyalty of the vast majority of the Order.
He is if anything a man of his word, and a man of Action. He is an extremely skilled warrior. On his own he has been seen fighting with weapons of varying types and makes with a level of mastery, and in some cases fighting with his fists and feet when weapons fail. Throughout his two decade long career he has been the pillar of the Order and has kept it in a peak fighting shape. He has saved many of his brothers and sisters in arms no matter their rank. He has risked his life to accomplish such on many occassions.
