Naero
Allentrian Guardian of Airmagic Naero
Naero is the Allentrian god and guardian of airmagic. His domain is the Erastate, and he lives in an isolated part of the kingdom, presiding over his magic with pride and his mortals with disdain.
Though Naero, like his deity brethren, was created to serve as a magical guardian, he was given the form of a gryphon, and thus became attached to those mortal counterparts. During the mass monster killings of the Seventh Age, the gryphons were hunted to extinction -- Naero never forgave the humans for that, nor for their genocidal actions that wiped out several prominent, powerful magical species.
