Mutation is killer on the body. After sustaining a Major Mutation, living material show signs of immense strain to maintain their structure. It still heals from StarBlight damage, albeit at a much slower rate. Any creature that sustains another 20 pts of StarBlight exposure will not gain hit points at any rest and must be artificially sustained by extraordinary means.
