WorldEmber Prep 2025
I didn't have time to work out all the fanciness required for the actual BINGO card, so I did a workaround shortcut. It still took a lot of time, and effort, but less than it would have to do it the way I really imagined it. Nevertheless, here it is. I do like how the homework this year was less redundant and more open so that all different people with different characters, worlds, stories, and styles can find it useful.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS ARTICLE IS INCOMPLETE
but I must submit it now anyway or I probably never will.
(And I know you're probably thinking, 'of course, homework is incomplete', but I mean the random ramblings I go on in these boxes are likely filled with typos and nonsense.)
WorldEmber Prep Bingo
A1: Review World Inspirations
For this section of homework, I will have to take time to do the tedious work of porting over all my character playlists from Spotify to YouTube. I have already done most of the work. Someone's playlist is particularly dense. Constance's is not too far behind.
N2: Refresh Author Page
I successfully refreshed my author page. I made sure to add a link to the Infinite Imaginations Discord server as it surprisingly wasn't there. I also slightly reworded my brief introduction. I also checked to see if all the social links were in order, and they were.
V3: Create Moodboard
I need to make an updated moodboard for my characters. I made some for the Petrichor Four for ArtFight, but I guess I should add more for Someone Elsewoodand Constance Harborat least. It would be cool to have one for Commander McCox, too, as quite a few people seem to like him as a character. Ultimately, I need one for the world itself, which will essentially mean one for the W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P. organization. It will need to seem slightly ominous while still maintaining professionalism and order.
I4: Review World Homepage
I am going through my world's homepage and deleting all the out of date references. I need to add new things. I also need to add a section that covers wins and stuff like that so that it can be a bit more streamlined and showcase things I am very pleased with, but still not feel like things are old. I need to figure out code for an article randomizer.
L5: Review Category Tree
I was in the middle of tagging all my untagged articles. I also need to make sure the WorldEmber and Summer Camp articles are in their respective folders.
A6: Tidy Writing Space
I need to clean my physical space, my streaming space, and my digital space. I already cleared off my desktop but I will likely need to organize it again.
N7: Define Worldbuilding Scope
For the scope of my worldbuilding, I am probably going to try and focus on things I can submit to the WaWas 2026.
V8: Review World Primer
I need to go through my W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P. article and make sure that extending the timeline didn't make the article uneven. There are always more fun tidbits and ominious messages to add to the page. And it doesn't hurt to throw in a couple more Commander McCox quotes.
I9: Find Accountability Buddy
For Summer Camp 2025, I had two accountability buddies, in addition to those in my Infinite Imaginations Discord server. For NovelEmber and Autumn Camp, I have been an accountability buddy for Escritora Novata, who has been assisting me in turn. I am trying to get around to finishing the third part of Troubled Beginnings, so having some critique on the previous two sections helps me gain more perspective.
L10: Get Feedback
As mentioned in the previous square, I am currently receiving feedback from Escritora Novata on Troubled Beginnings in a critique exchange which is one of the prompts I partook in for various challenges happening this month.
A11: Complete Unfinished Articles
This Summer Camp 2025 was a lot. I managed it, but wasn't exactly pleased with how some of the articles ended up. I was supposed to go through and touch them all up, at least adding art and icons and neatening them. This is something I should try before December. One of the worst was the article entitled The baddies which is not at all what they are supposed to be called.
N12: Read A Book
Right now, I have been listening to a lot of audiobooks, including some Poirot mysteries by Agatha Christie, and the dramatized Game of Nines by James Patterson, starring Shailene Woodley
FREE
I guess this FREE space will be to participate in NovelEmber as proper prep. I need to update my wordcount. I have been doing quite well this month, but there is no incentive to update the WorldAnvil tracker. With NaNoWriMo, there were stats and badges for hitting certain words. They assessed if you seemed to be an early bird or a night owl due to your writing and submitting habbits. They also gave status on your progress over the course of the month, letting you know how many more words you needed to stay on track. There were streaks and achievements and all that jazz. There is none of this in WorldAnvil, so that is probably why I haven't been overly rushing to report there. I've kept track of words otherwise. Using Sprinto bot in my server (nicknamed Track Coach), I have been participating in co-working sessions and getting in the words.
I14: Prepare Visual Elements
I am glad I have quite a few nice photos to reference in my Google Drive account from all the pictures I've taken over the years, but it would be good to have even more. I plan on submitting some photographs to Tanggle as an official Tanggle artist. Perhaps some of those will help me.
L15: Make List of Stubs
I don't have very many stubs, but I'm sure I can go through and make sure to reset all their dates. This will get me some guaranteed progress next month, just completing those only.
A16: Worldbuilding Playlist
I guess I need to actually curate a WILLOWISP vibes playlist that will help me get into the mood of the organization itself, rather than its members and agents.
N17: Make List of Articles to Write
There are a few characters and locations that I want to make sure exist in the world. I should cover some of the labs where Scientists work and where HTPMDs are bred and raised. These things are great for multiple reasons, but it is also important because Lin Vu does work with them for shadowing. I also need to get the other departments where Ezekiel Sampson and Kay Brown work.
V18: Plan Writing Scheudle
I have officially posted my streaming schedule for the month of November, I will have to see if this works to continue on through December. It appears so, but I know for sure that the first weekend of WorldEmber will be hectic, as I will be on a trip. Hopefully I can get at least a bit of work done then and produce some special bonus content for my supporters. Otherwise, everything else should hopefully go as normal. I plan to relaunch Holiday Camp in my Discord server as well.
I19: People In-World
I need to flesh out some of the people who are connected to the main focus characters, such as previous agents, scientists, and others who the Petrichor Four shadowed.
L20: Pre-Writing Research
The main research I will have to do is into previous WaWas, as well as the current WaWa's rules. I know some things have changed this year, and I want to make sure I am submitting my best work.
A21: Reread Core Articles
I need to make sure that Someone Elsewood is updated, as well as Constance Harbor and Stewart Princely. I already have the rest of the Petrichor Four, and I was not happy with Ezekiel Sampson, so it is time to do him justice.
N22: Join the Community
I have already been lurking in the WorldAnvil Discord server and joining Twitch livestreams when I can. I have also had many interactions with fellow Anvilites in offshoot communities, including my own.
V23: Review World Appearance
I have been wanting to redo my CSS for a long time, but I don't know if I will fully restructure it at the moment. I do have some nice icons I made for supporters so I may implement them to further customize the world's style.
I24: Go for a Walk
I went for a walk after my weekend cashier job. Sometimes I do start the walk home if my ride is not yet there to pick me up. Though the weather is turning off rather cold, it's still good to get some fresh air.
L25: Describe the World
Here are a lot of words that describe the world:
Ominous Sleek Professional Mysterious Alluring Covert Secretive Action-Packed

Best of luck with your goals Wordi! Have fun with WE and write all the words :)
Thanks so much! I actually did some of this but didn't update my bingo card. I will do it belatedly but I probably have an almost (if not completely) full board! Much success with your own WorldEmber plans! <3 I appreciate your encouraging words.
