....WORK IN PROGRESS....

Technological Advanced Being is a term to describe an individual who has a programmed persona or computer-cultivated personality. Some may consider these AI (Artificial Intelligence) while others seem to steer away from that term in fears that it invalidates said beings by considering them 'not real'.   Beings classified as tabs at W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P. include but are not limited to Computerized Alert Relay Systems and Androids.   In the past, computerized beings were not regarded as having their own life or vitality. Over time, ethical questions have arisen. Given the vast advancement of technology within the organization, many agents have grown fondly attached to computerized companions. From elevators around headquarters, to vehicles on the road, and even the experimental AI Therapist program, the lines have become blurry. As a result, this new classification of being has arisen. This should in no way cause agents to overthink. The TABs are still computerized programs. They are not advanced AI capable of taking over the world or the like, so please refrain from perpetuating any such rumors. There is an ethical reason we have decided to implement this profound and groundbreaking new branding at the company. Do not allow it to cause an uproar.   Nothing has changed, in fact. This is simply another necessary edition for technical purposes. Are we considering automatic doors TABs? Perhaps. It depends on the quality of said door. If the door opens and shuts by default with no personality or input, it is not considered a TAB. If the door 'looks' to see who is entering, analyzes the person's face and other identifying factors, possibly asks questions and exercises judgment to determine whether or not a person should be allowed within the premises, this is considered a TAB door.   Thank you for understanding.   (note: this email response was written by a TAB! Please rate your experience to help us improve the technology.)
