Chaos Theory
After stumbling upon a pool of energy known as "the Source", Barack was imbued with immense magical potential, losing his family in the process however. After this he was adopted by the Unseen who sought to study Barack in combat in order to learn more about his capabilities. Not only are they trying to understand his magical potential, but they also want to use his powers for a new invention created and stolen by the Unseen.
