Death of Lord Argathrul

Revolution

450

Loralahne, a Warlock who had suffered grievous abuse at the hands of the Fiend lord Argathrul as a Patron, confronts her former abuser after escaping his cult which had imprisoned her. However, the way this patron treated her would eventually prove to be his downfall, and lead to the Fiend's perma-death.

With aid of her brother, Loralahne successfully makes it out of the cult's hideout, and the pair makes it to a temple which holds an artifact that can free her from Argathul's tether. But the Patron knows of her plans and corners her. He nearly turns her into a Husk by attempting to slap the soul out of her body, but fails: he does, however leave a permanent scar on her face in this encounter that no healing magic managed to remove, even after Arzathrul's death. But her Barbarian brother flying into a blood rage and attacking the Fiend lord in response gives Loralahne the opportunity to drag her grievously wounded away from the battlefield, drink a healing potion and teleport the duo to safety.   After taking her time to partially heal from her traumatic experience and her safety being assured by Ereyar, the King in Green, Loralahne sets out to take revenge. However, the ritual to do so goes wrong, and she is forced to fight him in order to avenge every victim before her. Her body proved to be capable of channeling more power than ever thought possible before, and he is slain by her and her fellows. These events inspired many Warlocks to stand up to unfair Patrons such as him, and led to many evil Patrons being overthrown. Sometimes, even entire churches to them who were controlled through fear revolted.
