Civil action
With the increasing acceptance of Orcs, Dark Elves and Goblins in society came a great amount of new information from the races from the Underground: they gladly shared their cultural practices with the Humans, Dwarves and Elves now that they had taken them in.
Amongst the important discoveries that this would bring was a revolution in the smithing world: the Orcs had their own traditions of forging armor, and these would prove more durable than the armor of old. Though it would be longer before Orcs would own any blacksmith businesses, it became a common sight to see an Orcish apprentice in a blacksmith's shop. This would lead to a great advancement in both weapons and armor, strengthening the armies of the world. The Dark Elves shared the secrets of Necromancy with the College, as their people had historically practiced it for centuries: this led to more effective takedowns of more evil-aligned Necromancers due to Dark Elves working with local temples as experts on the matter, and eventually led to the College adopting it as a valid school of magic. Their Rogues also shared intelligence on how to recognize spies from Overlords, leading to a continuous shortage of information for the world's foes. But the Goblins would bring one of the most important gifts for their hosts of all: with the importance they place on community, they were the ones who facilitated the talks that would lead to greater acceptance of these three races. Many even opened their homes for this purpose: it was not uncommon to see a Goblin invite their Human,Dwarven or Elven neighbors over. It was also quite common to see Goblins helping out in taverns, inns and restaurants. And they often shared recipes and their knowledge of natural resources with their Human, Elf and Dwarf hosts.
