Siren
- They only look like young maidens with mermaid tails from a distance, and their sings sound like one singing: they have a monstrous appearance with claws, sharp teeth, flat nose, when seen up close, but by then, it's often too late for their prey.
- Their songs can control the minds of the mortal races to a degree: they can control a humanoid to a level where they will do things outside of their usual morals, but can't force them to do anything too far outside of their personality. For example: they can't make an Orc a bandit slavelord, but they can make that Orc attack his allies despite his usual loyalty to his allies.
- They feed off of the souls of the mortal races: this is why they lure them to their deaths.
Basic Information
Ecology and Habitats
- Those in the wild often live near water, and the evil-aligned ones are mostly on friendly terms with nearby Varanians and Daggerfin as the Sirens enjoy luring the mortal races in with their song. They are on reasonable terms with the Sahagin.
- Those trying to live amongst the mortal races are often good-aligned, and are probably ostracized by their Siren tribes for their alignment.
