Azant Wilds
Scraggly, dead trees with thorny vines poke up out of the poisoned soil, while ash falls over the landscape like grey snow. Opportunists and scavengers inhabit this desolate scene, scrounging for food beneath the ash or hunting those that do. Such is life in the Azant Wilds.
This landscape is shaped by the Ash Peaks to the east, as volcanic ash and acid rains have caused lasting damage and pollution to this area.
This region was once home to a large population of hill dwarves, who were forced from their homes because of a major volcanic eruption. The ruins of their towns still remain, buried under the ash.
