Šamper Hašmaq (king)

Šamper Hašmaq

Šamper Hašmaq, born Šamper Fin, was the second king of Der Fem. He reigned for only two years, 816-819, before being killed in the second phase of the War for Der Fem initiated by the death of his father. His son was only 10-years-old when he died, so the throne was taken by his vizier Ûzeŋadise-bargwel Šiwke Gwelzuh.

Personal history

He was only 12-years-old during the initial battles of Zeribian Revolution of Der Fem, and so couldn't fight yet. This was embarrasing for him, especially since his two years older close friend Šiwke Belux, the eldest son of Vizier Šiwke Gwelzuh, was allowed to join after coming of age (15). This lack of experience in battle might have been one reason why ended up being killed in battle.
