Irina's Hearth
After the end of the Long Wars, many people were left trying to rebuild their lives. For decades families had survived on the wages of children that joined the military but who were now either dead or no longer required.
This organisation was created by myself, my brother Nikolai, and some of our friends to help the people recovering from the ravages of our recent war by providing them with food and shelter while they try to rebuild
Over time, we have grown into a network of orphanages, hostels, soup kitchens, and hospitals to serve all travellers through our country.

They receive funding from many members of the nobility, including the Tsar himself.
Some nobles have also donated buildings across the country which are run to serve their communities.
Hostels run by this organisation operate on a pay what you can basis to all travellers so the organisation is not overly wealthy but they have grown to a point of self-sufficiency.

Advice to travellers
When travelling in our country, you can find respite in any of out buildings, easily recognisable by the sign above the door displaying an image of two hands one holding a lily and the other a loaf of bread.
These places will offer food and beds on a pay what you can basis and provide safe haven on long journeys.
