Morphology
Sinfosiloni is a noun-marking language, placing at the end of all of its nouns. Without the -i, the word becomes an adjective of the same meaning. Originally, the suffix -i was used to denote nouns from adjectives. As new nouns were adopted into Sinfosiloni, the morpheme became used to clarify the word's borrowing as a noun. This trend continued until the suffix attached to all nouns, creating the noun-marking system.
