Personal history
Arissa was born to a pair of acrobats in a circus, but she had no interest in following in their footsteps. She was always drawn to music, but also interested in the art of tarot. The diviner found it cute that the little girl was interested in their craft, so they taught her a little bit of it.
The circus closed down when she was 20, as magic had been banned. Since the entire place was set up to be a magical experience, everyone involved was arrested. Her parents helped her escape before they were caught as well. She has been working to get stronger so she can help break them out and now runs a tavern in a completely different town as a cover.
