The Healing Church

At the center of the city of Disarmament is the great healing church: a massive cathedral made from twisted steel and lightning forged glass, adorned with glowing neon signs expounding the virtues of the faith. When the Warforged first turned their helms to the heavens seeking guidance, their prayers went unanswered. Unperturbed, a portion of the Warforged population decided to build their own god. In the treasury beneath the healing church, mounds of human coins are melted down to form the metal shell of the Faithforged. Healbot missionaries seek out the remnants of living civilization looking to convert their ragged creators to their cause, even finding their way down into the Deep Lines, usually through the forgotten temples and dungeons that serve as entrances to the Underdark. The Healbots claim (to anyone who will listen) that one day the Faithforged will be powerful enough to heal this dying world, and that the Faithforged will offer salvation to any and all who donated the precious metals needed to forge its great hull. The Healbots are met usually with ridicule, skepticism, suspicion, or annoyance. Mostly the Healbot clerics trade medical treatment for coin, eventually trekking back home across the surface lands once their travel chests are brimming with coins of gold and platinum, protected only by their faith. Healbot faithful often clad themselves in gold plate in an attempt to become closer to the ultimate form of the Faithforged. Healbots don't get along with the followers of Alakezan. They see the worship of wizard tower icons as obscene, and believe that the world shouldn't need to cling to the old warlike gods as they await the ascendance of the Faithforged.
