The Covenant Split

The Covenant's split from the City State Conglomeracy.

a Protracted political incident in which the dome was discovered and then declared to be independent of the conglomerate. The conglomerate tried to use force to take control of the area but the dome's defenses and mountains proved to be too strong and a waste of resources. Because of this over the years a far more militaristic stance has been taken by the culture of those who reside inside Covenant.
