The Oasis
The central city of The Kingdom of Excelsis. It is full of towering sandstone buildings plated with marble, quartz, and gold. At its center is the The Unending Water, a well of infinite water created by Excelsis. This city is full of wealthy neighborhoods, aristocrats, markets, and prestigious academies. The King's Crown is an expansive territory north of The Unending Water which houses the noble family and functions as a city-state within The Oasis. This city is remarkable for having beautiful architecture, being planned to expand in such a way that aqueducts can branch out from the center of the city and reach to channels that span the city.
Districts
There are multiple enormous districts within the Oasis, each with unique functionality.
The Market Square: The economic center of the Oasis. Just about any market, merchant, or entertainer can be found here, as long as there isn't magic being cast in the area.
The Gilded District: The wealthiest area of the Oasis. The buildings are plated in polished marble and gold. There are auctions of art and sculptures, and gold flows like water. It is best known for its library, The Library of Astraniia and the scholarly academy that makes its home within it.
