Kynthea the Drakehound of the Pass
"-we were coming up the pass, and then all of a sudden there was all this gunfire!
The driver was full of holes by the time I even registered we were being shot at, and most of the guards were dead before I'd even shifted out of my seat! Then we started to hear something that sounded like thunder! My wife and I crawled out of the carriage as quietly as we could, bu tthen the screaming started...
The bandits or whoever was shooting at us were no longer worried about us, and it wasn't hard to determine why even though I couldn't see any bandits from our hiding spot, because some kind of massive hound was prancing amongst them! I'd never seen anything like it, and as we watched it nearly bit one of the highwaymen in two, shook the poor bastard, and let him fly. Half of him landed right next to me and I couldn't supress a shout of surprise, which only served to gain the attention of that mountain sized beast!
It bounded toward us, slobbering- wait, why are you laughing?"
Believed to once have been the loyal hound of a Knight of Syreneon, perhaps in an age past, Kynthea is a Drakehound that lives within the Lebine pass, a frequently traveled location that has become a famed target of bandits and marauders. Kynthea doesn't like that.
Many travelers end up in the surrounding towns, telling tales of the massive canine that appears seemingly out of nowhere, and the destruction she wreaks upon the the nere-do-wells.
