Valtuutettu
Valtuutettu is an important figure in Brynic religious folklore, believed to have been the first human to have procreated and thus the progenitor of mankind. Valtuutettu was one of the first humans, created by Aimo, and lived upon Tuono's Corpse in the utopian city of Tempala. He participated in a grand tournament hosted by the gods, dubbed the The Trials at Tempala, to determine a champion to fight their nemesis, Dartavoss, a tournament which he would win. As the champion of the gods, Valtuutettu would travel to the edge of the world to fight his foe, traversing the badlands with little more than a beacon that would alight his path. When Valtuutettu came across the primordial serpent, he fought against the demon for 4 days and nights, before slaying his foe by a thousand cuts. Upon his victory, the gods thought fit to bestow upon him the greatest gift, that of creation itself. He would take himself a wife and ith her have many children which would spawn the generation of mankind thereafter. In modern times, Valtuutettu is revered by people of the greater Brynic valley and those who follow The Hallowed Faith, being honoured by holiday feast and tributes at holy alters.
