Ruins of Camelot

The Ruins of Camelot

Once a resplendent castle-city, the heart of King Arthur's realm.

The sprawling ruins consist of moss-covered battlements, empty towers pierced by cold winds, and shattered courtyards where spectral echoes of knights might still be glimpsed beneath the moonlight. The legendary Round Table, though fractured and fallen, remains at the castle’s core like a ghostly altar to bygone fellowship and sacred oaths. Warped and warped pales of stone and shattered banners hint at the violent betrayals and lost glory that doomed the once-mighty kingdom.

Amidst the decay, Caerdan’s domain maintains a grim majesty. The Ruins are steeped in lingering spells of mourning and power—enchanted mist coils through the shattered Great Hall, and faint, forlorn whispers of ancient oaths echo between broken pillars. The surrounding forests have reclaimed the edges of the once-famed kingdom, now thick with brambles, sickly black roses, and twisted trees bearing the scars of old battles.

This eerie, sorrowful landscape embodies the Court of Ruin’s themes of fallen nobility, regret, and the ever-present tension between past glory and grim reality. Caerdan’s court is a spectral knighthood gathered from the ruins, their armor dulled and their banners tattered, but their spirits unbowed—forever honored through ruin, holding vigil to what was lost yet is never forgotten.

The Ruins of Camelot are not just a place of memories, but a crucible of power and ambition where alliances are as fragile as the stone underfoot, and the broken crown of the Shard King shines coldly beneath the storm clouds—a reminder that even in ruin, kingship endures.
