The Zealous Company

Various servants of The Cobalt Order are sometimes expelled from the Order for various reasons. Excessive cruelty, abuse of power, doctrinal differences with the ruling priesthood. Whatever it may be all who worship Karabir the Binder are welcome in The Zealous Company. The Zealous Company is an infamous mercenary company operating out of Nothern Pleagus. Their numbers tend to fluctuate. In times immediatly after Cobalt Order Crusades the Company tends to be swelled with the faithful either no longer needed, or expelled from the armies of the faithful. At other times recruitment dries up to the odd disgraced knight and heretic priest. The Company always survives though. The Company is famed because it, unlike many mercenary companies never seeks to avoid combat. The zealots that make up the Company's membership are convinced they will receive eternal reward by dying for the Company.
