Far Mountains

The Far mountains reach as the name implies, very far, as long as one can see from a high altitude air balloon. Some adventurers claim to have reached the highest peak, or seen the other side of the massive mountain range, however, the truthfulness of such claims is criticized. An adventurer seeking the tallest peak might find some interesting things along the way, from powerful earth elemental magic to brave dwarven outposts and dragons clamoring for prestige and wealth.

Geography

Races not acclimated to high altitudes would find death by exhaustion very likely. If the steep mountains are not problem enough, the brutal blizzards tend to finish the job for most explorers. Rockslides also make more permanent structures a danger (like that's ever stopped a dedicated dwarven clan)

Natural Resources

Rocks. You will find lots of types of rocks here and also a lot of ice and snow.

Tourism

As elevation increases, so does the visibility of the sky-grid. There have been expeditions into the mountains to establish observatory contraptions to study the sky more and reveal its secrets.
