Introduction
Introduction
The Revamped Racial System allows players to have more diverse race-class builds not purely based on race. Because of this, race is more of a cosmetic feature than in the regular 5e system. Some species gain natural bonuses or abilities due to their biology, although it does not affect the overall balance.Physical Description: A brief physical description of the average member of this species.
Social Difficulty: This determines the average social difficulty of playing a member of this species in social interactions. This might result in a slightly higher DC for social interactions or NPCs outright trying to harm you. This score is typically raised by conflict and lowered by cooperation. Social Difficulty is rated on a scale of 1-5, with 1 being the easiest and 5 being the hardest.
Racial Spellcasting: This is when a racial ability or a perk allows you to cast a spell without expending a spell slot. For these spells, you may use your Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma modifier unless it is otherwise stated. You also do not need to use Material components, unless it is otherwise stated.
