Holly Bell

Holly Bell is a Lightonian General who has served since the latter stages of the War of Light & Dark. She is the acting liaison to the Aether Confederacy, heir to the Bell Clan, the acting Vice Chair of the Lightonian's operations, a Dragon General, she is the leading tactician of the task force responsible for Dharkanian Operations, and much much more. She is renowned for her medical knowledge AND her immense presence in the Light as well as her tactics, as is the case for Generals on both sides of the fighting. While she is most certainly not the most powerful of her people she is regarded as one of their most dangerous for her cunning regarding tactics and negotiations, being nicknamed The Silver Bell in reference to the phrase Silver Tongue.   Holly is famous among her peers for being the individual who captured Cortez Macabre of the Dharkanians. The details of this capture are unknown. Since this time Holly has been off the books, making seldom appearances. Her current residence and general location is unknown despite her duties, which her staff attend to as middlemen whenever she contacts them.  

Appearance

Holly is slightly above average height, relatively slender, about average. Her hair is long and black, straight and plain, usually kept tied back rather than let down wholly. Her eyes are green, usually hidden behind her glasses which can display different information and relay communications/instructions. Typically she wears a white lab-like coat with a blue arm band, upon which is the white star of the Lightonian military. She dresses modest, comfortable typically, not exactly best for combat.  

Personality

She is an observer, laid back, lax. She prefers to be the quiet wisdom in the room and situation. A love for books, a love for classic music, and a desire to learn. Knowledge leads her, and reading educates her. Despite coming off as an introvert for her preferences and way of conducting herself, she is quite the extrovert and reader of people.   It is her ability to read people as she does her books, on top of the situation, that aids her in her known Silver Tongue. She always looks to manipulate the odds into her favor, using words and intel to direct her own enemies into her desired cross-hairs.  

Abilities

Holly is a Dragon General and as such is considered substantially powerful. As a Lightonian, her hold over Light Energy is vast. It can be assumed that she has knowledge of dozens of high level spells; though nothing has been confirmed. The one factor she is known for is her skill with healing magic.  

Background

Holly was born at the tail end of the gap era of the Lightonian lineage and right at the initial decades of the last stage of the war. She was a cadet for the most violent stages, part of the generation that saw the likes of Leon Sycamore, trained by vets such as Cortez Macabre and Gideon Ezdorth. During the war she rose through the ranks quickly, aided partially due to being of the Bell Clan itself as an heir. Though she was not first in line, she did eventually become thee heir within the first several hundred years of the last stage.   Holly at some point held a husband and child of her own though the war was stated to have claimed both, just as it did her brother.   She was a part of the strategy that defeated the Dharkanians at the end of the war, and was also one of the voices to push for the establishment of the Aether Confederacy. She became a crucial part of the Lightonian-Aether relations, and eventually she did also take part in the capture of Cortez Macabre.  

Character Facts

In the pilot novel, Holly was Elise's mentor. She was also the librarian of the town of Emerton.
